Robson/Murray duo added to Hopman Cup pairings.

Andy Murray and Laura Robson will team up to represent Britain in the Hopman Cup in Australia in January 2011. The British duo made it into the final of the eight-team tournament in 2010 where they were beaten 2-1 by Spain. The event, which is viewed as a warm-up for the Australian Open, will also feature players such as Novak Djokovic, Serena Williams and Justine Henin. Tournament director Paul McNamee said he was delighted to see British number one Murray return to the event.

McNamee stated: “He is a rare talent so we are delighted he is coming back.” Defending champions Spain are not expected to play in the tournament. Robson, ranked 212 in the world, was in action at the HP Open in Osaka on Tuesday but lost in the opening round to Kimiko Date Krumm.
