Djokovic will take his winning streak into the Miami final against Nadal.

Novak Djokovic recorded an emphatic 6-3 6-1 win over American Mardy Fish in the semi-final of the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami. The Serbian, who is unbeaten in 2011, made light work of Fish to reach his fourth final of the year. There he will face Rafael Nadal in a repeat of last month’s Indian Wells final.

The 23-year-old, who has shown a lethal instinct to win 25 successive matches since December, again demonstrated a killer touch to see off the challenge of 14th seed Fish in an hour and 26 minutes. Djokovic is now 40 service games unbroken in the Miami event. “I don’t feel invincible,” claimed Djokovic. “I don’t feel that I can’t lose on the court. What I feel is big confidence. What I feel is that I’m playing best tennis of my life.”

In Friday’s second semi final, that the media hyped as ‘a great rivalry’, it turned out to be ‘no contest’. Federer was outplayed and outclassed by Nadal, and he looked like just another tennis player. The final score was a very one-sided 6-3, 6-2.
